Half Way Through August Already
Surveys
Boy time flies. Turns out that in the excitement of getting ready for GenCon, we posted the wrong date for locking surveys in our last update. The real last day to make final updates to your order is set for Monday, August 17, 2026. At noon CST we will lock your reward selections and charge cards for add-on item purchases, pledge upgrades, and new pre-orders. You can update your shipping address up until we lock addresses for shipping (~1-2 weeks before we send out games).
If you fill out your Backerkit survey after the August 17th due date, we’ll still receive your information but your shipment may be delayed.

Gen Con
There aren't enough good things to say about Gen Con. Our goal is to have a booth there some day and our play sessions we host are a great first step at getting our foot in the door. We had some excellent games with new and old TNT Creative Gaming fans alike.
We also got to see our friends from Thieves' Tails getting some final playtest sessions in before they launched their Kickstarter (which is live now and you should totally check out: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thediceanddagger/thieves-tails?ref=nav_search&result=project&term=Thieves%27%20tails&total_hits=7 )
Other favorite experiences included the Terraforming Mars and Doomlings National Championships, 3 different Lord of the Rings themed games, most of IV Studios' game library, and an epic DCC against a way too powerful owl god that managed to destroy everyone in our group - RIP.
Shipment Status
The boat makes ever closer progress with our copies of Complementary Produce! Looks like we will receive everything by the start of September which should give us plenty of time to get your packages out within our October target window. This is what it feels like to watch the progress of the boat in case you were curious.
Upcoming Events
The next event on our calendar is exhibiting at Midtoberfest, a game day hosted by Midwinter Gaming Convention on Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 9:00am - 5:00pm at The Bavarian Bierhaus in Glendale, WI. Interact with local game designers and publishers while checking gifts off your holiday shopping list! Warm up for Midwinter with Learn to Play events featuring titles from the WI State Championship Series. Settle in for open gaming, bring your own, or peruse the Featured Titles to experience games from local and regional creators! Come say hi!

Complementary Produce June/July Update
Production Update
Hey all, we totally didn't forget to post an update in June...and now with July almost at a close, what better time to actually send out an update. At least it is worth the wait because we are happy to share that Complementary Produce has completed production!
We've got the transportation all lined up and the next step is to get the games to us so we can send them out to you all for fulfillment. If our games could talk, I'm sure they would be saying...
The October target delivery date remains on tack.
Backerkit Surveys

Upcoming Events
GenCon is this weekend (July 30 - Aug 2)! This will be our second year and the hype is real. If you don't trust us, trust all these people.
There are still a few spots available at our play with the creator sessions and we would love to catch up with old and new faces alike, so don't miss your chance to sign up. Reminder that a ticket to GenCon will be required to attend these events.
TNT in the Wild
We recently had an awesome event in Milwaukee with Pop Up Gallery LLC and we continue to love being a part of different pop-ups throughout the city and beyond. We have a few more events coming up that we will announce after GenCon, but until then, let us know what you think of our booth and if you think we should make any changes. I agree. The smile could be bigger.

Complementary Produce May Update

Read below for some May updates:
Surveys
70% of backers have now successfully filled out their surveys and input their shipping information (check your email's spam folder if you haven't gotten anything yet). Thanks to those who have already taken care of this! You will still be able to make edits to your address up until a month before shipping.
We know that the local pickup can be particularly tough to figure out so please follow along below for some additional guidance.
- First, if you haven't started your survey yet, when you first click the link, the default country is set to United States. Click that drop down and switch it to "Local Pickup." Then just follow the rest of the steps as prompted.
- Second, if you've already completed your survey but want to switch to local pickup, you can follow this link:
- After you type in your email and follow the link in the email sent to you (check your spam if you're not getting it), you will see a screen that looks similar to the image below (slightly different if done on a phone). If you click "Edit Shipping Info" you can then edit your address and switch the "Country" to "Local Pickup."
- Third, you can always email us at [email protected] and we can assist with any questions you may have and even make changes to your survey on your behalf.
- Last, there is a nifty help option within Backerkit in the upper right of the screen when filling out your survey labeled "Need Help" and it has project FAQ, Backerkit FAQ, and additional ways to contact us and Backerkit support.
Production
Production remains on track and we are still aiming to have games in your hand by October of 2026. So far we have been very pleased with the results of the initial samples and can't wait to share images of our large scale production sample once we receive it.
Misc. Updates
GenCon event signup is this Sunday, May 17th. We will be back at North America's largest tabletop gaming convention and will be hosting two play with the creator events - one for Mythic Gems and one for Complementary Produce. Make sure you sign up early if you want one of the limited slots available to play these games. Reminder that a ticket to GenCon (July 30 - Aug 2) will be required to attend these events.

Hey everyone!
Get ready to ignite your next game night! Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer a couple of questions, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like (did we mention the super cute bookmarks that weren't available during the campaign??). You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. We will send out updates throughout the manufacturing process to give you plenty of notice before we close the surveys.

Next Steps
A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment so here's a quick rundown of key dates and additional details below.
First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds so we have the money to manufacture the games (this can take up to two weeks).
Second, we need to know where to ship your copies of Complementary Produce and other great products. We’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect this information. There will also be an option for local pickup!
We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.
If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)
Answering your survey helps us get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact us at [email protected] . Additionally, if you used an Apple ID to forward to your email address those can occasionally get trapped in your spam folder so please reach out to us if you don't see the BackerKit email once we tell you it's been sent out.
